Well, I really liked this one, wish it had rated higher, however, a great shot.

In many ways this is quite magnificent. I'm afraid that circle just above the flower/seeds looks too much like a thing. As such it distracts from the zen mindset (?) that's implied in the title.

Love the lighting and the quality of bokeh here. Composition-wise, this looks a bit disbalanced to me. Perhaps a different crop or moving the circular highlight elsewhere in the frame would yield a better result. 8

Love the title ;) Simple clean picture, the blown highlight ruins it a bit though.

Definitely meets the challenge and exhibits proper bokeh. The subject matter leaves me wanting (not because it's a flower - I have nothing against flowers - it just lacks a "wow" factor for me). Good luck!

Simplicity always seems to work well in compositions, and this works.....

Zen photography? I like the simplicity in this photo. Wish the light wasn't too hash on the top left of the flower

Pleasant colours. The art of pretending not to arrange but emulating nature's chaos. IMO there are a few hairs out of place. 7.

great subject... some of the simplest bokeh yet extremely affective. Title is appropriate and clever also.

It's a nice, tight, DOF shot. But how does the background enhance the subject?
