Greetings from the Critique Club!

First of all, let me congratulate you for trying out something different. Though you have captured a cliche subject, you have tried to make the composition different.

As many comments pointed out, I'm not too sure if grid in the background really added much to photo (though it makes it different). It is kind of distracting. And to add to it, its "hard" to see motion blur at first pass (though it surely is there).

I did not voted for this challenge but aould have given anything between 5 and 6 which is in-line with average score.

You have got some amazing photos in your portfolio. "A Magical Place" and "15,16,17" are really "wow". Looking forward to seeing more of your photos.

Have a nice day!

I'm not sure what the grid pattern is, but it's a very distracting element.

I like the concept. The grate looking background is a nice addition, adds to the sense of motion. Though I reckon this would've worked nicely with just a plain background as well.

A simple but innovative idea, well executed.

As I'm looking at it on my screen, the image is covered in tiny rectangular blotches. I'm not sure if that's part of the image, or some artifact of my browser. But it is a little distracting.

If it was me, I'd have aimed for some more light and contrast on the candle.

I'd be interested to here how you composed the shot.

very cool image of this candle. i love the flame and the trail it's leaving. i dont like the background. probably would have been more powerful against a dark brown or black background.

That's really unique, I like this one too. Very good, very interesting, nice color.

I don't like the checkers in the background...
