Good selection dude and good one for the first attempt. Good use of lighting- it creates the nice dark environment, although I'd have the lighting to be uniform across the sculputure, espicially on the girl's right palm/hand. Also, the faces and the positioning are distracting me away to that glowing thing in the background. I'd have rated 6.

You've created an entrancing effect with this shot. Well done. I love the way you've illuminated the statuette to emphasise the transluscence of the frosted glass. And the dark satanic background provides an evocative counterpoint to the serenity and poise of the subject.
Being a little picky, I would have tried positioning the subject just a little differently. The raised arm of the standing figure looks a bit lost. But then you need to keep the cape in view, so maybe this was a good compromise position. |

| Good use of lighting but the wicker (?) thing in the back is a bit distracting to me. |

| The lighting is working well for a bauble which itself is ghastly (that's just my taste or opinion, but it affects my judgement). Between the 2 and the 8 you get a 5 :) |

| not sure if this breaks the literal art rule since its so straight forward but it does have a nice softness to it thats appealing. |
