Very nice photo, the lighting and composition work very well IMO and the almost classic green or aqua colour just seems to ad that little extra something to the scene.

I love the simplicity of this shot. The off center composition is very nice. The amount of texture in the glass you were able to maintain is very, very good. I have a bunch of these and toyed with the idea...glad i didn't - this surpasses anything I could have done. The lighting is excellent - really lets the shape and texture stand for itself. Also lets the color be itself and not forced at all. Very well done - underappreciated in the voting I think. Black background was the only way to go as well...really lets the insulator stand strong and bold. Nice job Roxanne!

pretty lighting, love the green hue in your entry. maybe a bit bigger DoF would be nice, so the words at the bottom were a bit sharper. |

I like the contrast and composition. I just think etched glass always tends to look unfocused due to its nature. very nice lighting also. |

Nice presentation. Maybe add a little more room at the top of the photo. |

Most people don't know that this is a power insulator used by the rail road on telegraph wiring years ago. I have a barn full of them |
