the lighting here is a lot front heavy, the back of the dog is much darker than the front. The dog isn't sleeping but it could be that you were waking it up for the picture? What's that thing on the floor by the door/wall, I don't see a reason for that to be in the shot.

Is that a superstition, or a proverb? Anyway, as far as the photo goes, I think the lighting is a bit harsh, and the composition is a bit snapshottish. Weird eye that dog has, eh?

maybe you SHOULD let sleeping dogs lie.lol. Soemthing is definately wrong with his eye. I guess you had jsut woke him up and its not quite in place yet. yuck. the lighting's a bit harsh but the concept and idea here are very cute.

I like the idea, but the shot didn't grab me, I put you in the top 20 though for having an original idea no one else had, the sleeping dog was cute too
