Very effective. One's eye is drawn to the focal point, I guess by use of noise and masked levels and desat in the background. It's a little different from the other entries, in a positive way, and I like it.

7 - Nice lighting. Tonings(?) work well. A variation in cropping/composition (bigger heightwise perhaps) may have given this a little extra in my opinion.

Good composition, superior focus & colour on this, (I am assuming a sunflower), is pleasing. I see tonality as a touch contrasty, but I enjoy this one. 8

Nice close up. Would like colors a touch stronger or weaker - either let the textures shine or the color - a little of both just washes the image out. DOF, POV well done. 7
