Thanks for your comments!! I'm very happy with this first submission to a challenge. Ok, there was a dnmc-problem: my dictionary told me, that "stationery" means something like "all kind of paper". But when the voting began, I knew what "stationery" really stands for...

I've never considered an EKG to be something recorded on stationery before... the photo itself is well done and rather mysterious, so I'm not sure how to rate this. Better to be generous that to be negative when it involves a matter of life or death.

If this were the strip from a real heart monitor, the beats would be continous along the length of the paper and not across. Overall the lighting and composition are pleasing with the exception of the bright spot in the middle.

I didn't get this until I looked at it for the 3rd time. EKG's run the length of the tape, not across.

It's a bit dark.

I'm not sure this really meets the challenge but I like it a lot. Nice composition. Lighting is terrific. Good focus. Not sure I have anything constructive to suggest you do differently. Well done!
