the bird is in such a classic, victorious, swooping pose and yet is humbly supported by that silly branch. This is a study in striving, in pride, in humility, in irony. 8. |

Great composition here with the leading line of the stick and the pose of the bird all against the plain background. I think a contrast boost may have totally nailed this shot. Good capture. |

What a wonderful image. I had to look really hard to see that both feet were actually on the twig. Only a couple of things could have improved this image. If the bird would have provided a profile view and a bit more detail in the sky (Tough to do with basic editing). |

Nice capture but a bird's outstretched wings don't say stationary to me, they suggest movement. |
