Yeah dude, this just plain sucks. What were you thinking! It honestly plays on the Photoshop part of my innards and makes me want to wretch (control-alt-shift-caps-tab-W).
Next time, leave the lens cap on!
;)
Just kidding of course... Hey, ya win some and ya lose some... Who said it had to make sense which order they occured in. |

Most people can't shoot fireworks (or have the opportunity to).. so *anything* that stands out above the usual will garner higher than usual scores methinks...
Although you were tongue-in-cheek.. I do think that this is a sub-par photograph for the most part. |

A little oversharpened and the tighter crop would have been better, but this shot still stood out with the water relection that you had working and the boat silhouette. I gave this a 7 and was easily in my top 20 picks for the challenge. Good job and no hard feelings mate. |

Good idea but a little too busy. The foreground just isn't interesting enough. |

Nice view overlooking the river; good timing to catch a single burst. A crop on the right to get rid of some of the dark area may make this even better. |

There are some things I love about this photo - the fireworks reflection in the water and the boat. I wonder whether the photo might be beter without the right third. |

Nice foreground, good to see some details other than just the firework to ground the shot. The colors in the water are also a nice touch. It's too bad the building is there, but not much you can do about that. |
