 This is first year they have had the fireworks on the Great Lakes Naval Base since 9/11. I wasn't going to be in town but ended up getting back in time. I really wish I'd gotten a better location (I really wanted a lower angle) but this worked ok. These are my first fireworks with my new camera...man I love that 2sec self timer. Hope the blown out areas isn't too much.

Intense shot, with all the fireworks at once. Too bad that they blew out so much - a touch more color woule have made this even better.

A little to much white sparkles/light, as it is just to distracting.....

too much of a mess way over exposed cut off the over exposure kills the color
