Hi Patryck,
I totally wish we knew the story of the photos before we voted on them. I'm embarrassed of my remark below...I will NEVER make one like that again to anybody's photo. If there's a good thing in this it's you have caused me to progress as a individual: hopefully for the better. Thank you...

Rabits are hard to rehab. They have incredibly weak immune systems because all the antibodies they get comes from their mothers milk- something we cant provide with kitten milk replacer or all those other formulas people recommend. Therefore, as soon as they encounter any harmful bacteria (especially E.coli)... thats it, there is nothing you can do. I had a bunny just about that age a little earlier this summer, it had taken a trip in a dogs mouth and he didnt make it through the night :(
It was nice of you to try and save him.

I guess I like this photo more than I originally thought because every time I come back to vote on this challenge I find myself looking at it. It is such sad subject matter...might there have been a drearier backround? |

Last year my sister and I found an abandonned rabit's den. A little boy from our neighborhood told us that he was going to hurt the babies so we took them in order to keep them away from him. Most of them were adopted by another mother bunny. They all survived accept for the runt that was rejected by the new mother. We named him rhyno. After one week he past away because of a series of seizures. This image is wonderful, very moving. Love it. & it looks just like rhyno when he was sleeping. |

Even with an open mind I'm having a tough time seeing a connection to the challenge 'Progress' with this image. Sorry. |

What I like about he photo:
He's so adorable.. he's not really dead .... right?
What could be improved:
The photo feels a little soft.. personnally I would prefer a harsher saturation ...
Score
For the effort and the poor bunny.. a 5 for me.. |

I am having a great deal of difficulty in understanding how one can equate death with progress. Are we to assume that this poor animal's death is attributable to man's intrusion in the animal's habitat, with the ensuing results being that the progress of one species led to the demise of another?
I am a very open minded individual and will work on the premise that this indeed meets the challenge criteria, and will score it accordingly. |
