You know how asian restaurants often post pics of their dishes above the menu on the wall which are old and overexposed and void of colour? They should hire you to take some new pics for them. I would then buy more chinese and japanese food. I want to eat your picture.

Oh Art, you never fail to make me laugh. If it makes you feel any better, this shot makes me hungry for chicken noodle soup. :) So, since you evoked something in the viewer, no "shame."

hmm, I do think it's abstract, especially because of the PoV.
Doesn't really look like I wanna eat it, though.. ;-)

Very neat image! For some reason, this picture reminds me of the inside of cell or something microscopic. I like the red glow around the Cup O' Soup. It would have been nicer if it had been centered, but that is a small improvement. The coloring overall is very well done. There is something slighty "rough" about this picture that detracts from it a bit... not being a long-time member of the photography community, I am not quite sure what it is!
