Orange Peppers:
Sweetest of the sweet. Delicious raw and a special treat roasted. Bright color really brings attention anywhere they are used. As with all sweet peppers, they are high in vitamin C, low in calories, fat and have no cholesterol.

When I decided on the title I wasn't aware of the piece "Lamentation in D Minor" (Alexandre GUILMANT (1837-1911)) -
It is dedicated to the composer’s great friend Abbé Henri Gros who was killed in the bombardment of Paris in 1870 during the Franco-Prussian War. This is a deeply moving work and in its own way quite stunning.

I just love your nutritional facts section. I love the red bell pepper raw. Way more than an apple or cucumber. Great healthy snacking food. You are really showing some versatility in your photography lately. Keep up the good work. The colors here really draw you in.

A lovely image but lacking something...hmmm...yellow? Smallish....round? Yes, I think so.

Congrats. :)

Very nice minimalistic abstract. The negative space works well here and very nice choice of colors. This has a good fresh pop to it!

Please, please explain this title when it's over!

This is a fat border, but it works for me because you're creating stronger contrast against your bright colors than you would've against the normal DPC gray.

This is my favorite so far, and is going in my favorites. :)

A ribbon worthy image in my opinion. This has everything that DPC likes - appeal, color, and technical merit. I believe I will see this in the front page along with the other great images in this challenge. Good luck.

I like this image, somewhat mournful - not sure why

Very good colors. I feel that the orange peper is too small for the amount of blue (IMO). Have luck. 7

beautiful lighting, sharp, good colors...all around a very solid shot...my only minor nit is there's just a tad bit too much negative space for my tastes...I think you probably could have taken a bit off the top and still kept the stem on the third :)

great bold colors and shapes. this strikes me more as an expression of minimalism than abstraction; for an abstraction, i would think the subject should take up more of the image area.

Nice use of color and rule of thirds! A bit uninteresting overall. But technically great.
