Black acrylic childrens paint. I painted in some of her natural veins and some lines on my own. Cropped it tighter, level and shadowing adjustments.

Great vulnerability to this portrait. Not only is the skin exposed, but even the veins! It is a pretense of vulnerability, of course (drawn in), but it mirrors the real deal.

This looks like a snapshot for myspace, maybe if she had been posing differently and not like she was just trying to show the lines and if the lighting had been more interesting, maybe try this with a black background and dramatic lighting with shadows, try setting this shot up more artistically, nice start though, I hope that's not sharpie marker

so you just took eye liner and drew all over her to make this awful picture

I think darker lighting, or even B&W would have worked better.

Would benefit from more creative lighting.

I think a darker background would some moodier lighting would have enhanced this a lot... good idea and very pretty model, though!

With such a beautiful model and a great idea, you could have been more creative with your lighting and composition to come up with a winner. The lighting is dead-on and flat. She is too close to the background and the depth of field is one dimensional. You could have used all these elements to make your photo more interesting.

I like the ideea!
But I think the background doesn't work very well in this photo. Also the face of the model seems out of focus (it may be from resizing?). But I like it

Could have been ALOT better. Marker could have been neater, sharper focus, better lighting.
You had the right idea, just poor execution.

The lighting here is a bit way too sharp. Nice model and cool concept though, good luck.

"WOW", this is really triffic, and I think this is a self-portrait, and it is is, even better..... Well done, as I really like it a lot, and it really suits this challenge.

Great idea, good looking model. Lighting is way to harsh; a flash I guess. Try at least bouncing the flash off of the ceiling to soften it.
