Good question. It's a little jalapeno pepper. One of the few green foods I could find to fit inside the square vase I used, which was only about 8 ins square.

I think this is the best "dropped in water" image. I am a fan of simplicity and directness and this image has both.

Excellent job! I think I would have liked the large bubbles on the top edge of the frame (right side) cloned out. Other than that it's perfect, 10 from me.

This definately was an overplayed idea in this challenge and that's very unfortunate cause I like this a lot and it's probably not going to score very high because of that.
Other than that, I really like the colors in this picture

Neat colors. I think I'd prefer a touch more room at the top so that the end of the pepper dosen't feel so cramped. Good detail.

I love it. The focus is right on, and it fits the challenge well. The only think I'm not that keen on in the composition. I'm a fan of negative space and I wonder what it would have looked like off center with some plain green in the image.

Nice shot. Would have worked better if you let it sink more and not cropped off so close to the top. Personally I like all the bubbles. 5.
