 Carousel horses. This is what they look like to me. Even as a kid I thought they looked psychotic. I still do. Won't ride them. Oh, and the poles are gold if you wondered... :)

Lots of editing to fix the darks and lights. Didn't move anything, did hide the true nature of the evil little buggers...

I was your 9. You really did capture what's so scary about carousel horses. You'll often find them in suspense thrillers, maybe the most famous being Strangers on a Train...
