I attended Promise Keepers in Jacksonville, Florida, this weekend at Veterans Memorial Auditorium. As our group's photo-journalist I took some photos outside the auditorium for ambience and a sense of place.

I made some posts on the current challenge forum about Gold.
Thanks for all the tough love! When I become the photographer that I want to be, I will always remember DPChallenge as the place the "toughened my metal." (Pardon the Pun...for once it wasn't intentional.)

the zoomy throbbing effect is cool and the person there is helpful for size reference.

I think that this is a stretch for the gold challenge and the effect is quite distracting.

I'm having trouble fitting this into the challenge (find something gold and shoot it). The effect is also not doing much for me - sorry.

I don't see anything gold here, the subject isn't very interesting, the motion blur doesn't fit the subject and the composition is bad.

I dont know what you were shooting for but I dont see anything gold, or anything that could mean gold - not even a single thing in focus
