The shot was taken through the pilings of the pier. The major challenge was getting the image with out anyone in it as the beach was crowded.

IMO, this may have been more effective for Zen if taken not through the posts. The sunset and waves are well captured but I find the posts detract from what would otherwise be a serene scene.

WOW!PEACEFUL, YET ROUGH WITH THE WAVES CRASHING TO THE SHORE. THE SUN IS FANTASTIC. THE POLES IN THE SHOT COMMIT TO THE TRANQUILITY. 9
