Great Perspective! I wish there was more contrast between the dark background and white flower though. But that's just a little tweaking in Photoshop. |

A very nice symmetry, well ballanced shot both composition- and coulour-wise |

Nice soft peaceful colors. I'm not fond of the centered composition, but this subject does lend itself to it OK. Might be just a touch lacking in contrast. |

The centering definitely works on this one. I really like the fact that the spikes behind are out of focus. |

This image is going to have a polarized voting scale I'll bet. Some are going to like the soft, muted colors, while many (I think) are going to say it's a bit flat and toned down, lacking contrast. It's a wonderful floral image. I would prefer an adjustment to levels I think and bring up the brightness a little with just a touch of contrast boost. Anyway, best of luck to you in the challenge. |

A very pretty floral shot, great use of minimal color and lighting, and very soft tonal quality. However the pattern in the flower itself actually works against this, as there is just too much going on in the flower. It just draws my eye from the overall harmony of the photo as a whole, and forces me to LOOK at the subject, making it stand alone rather than blend and become harmonious with the background. |

fantastic as a square crop...on my laptop it looks like it needs some levels adjustments to make it pop, but that could just be my laptop...I'll have a better look on my 24" LCD...I love the dof and the bokeh...nice and simple shot suits the challenge |
