Time for Tea

A copper kettle , some gold leaf, porcelain, and a clock, all add up to bits & Pieces. Set up at home and taken without flash in a semi darkened room, on a table cloth with the fold marks to increase the pieces theme.

Opened in Photo Shop Raw Changed curves and cropped. Processing, Shadow highlights, NI, Sharpen, Contrast, reduced to 620 and bordered.

Nice composition and colours!
Like the blue background but the crisps on the table cloth are a little bit distracting.
There is your reflection on the teapot ! (this is not a critique though :O) I guess it would have been really difficult to avoid it while keeping the same perspective and framing)
I guess it could ahve worked with only the teapot and cup, or the teapot and clock, but of course this way it fits the challenge better.

I seeee you! It's still one of the few photos that has caught my attention in this challenge. I like the colors a lot. I think if you could have found a way to hide yourself in the doorway it would have scored much higher even with the doorway reflection. Amongst the general public this would do well. Amongst photographers... we seeeee you! =)

Love the title, especially with the clock in the background, a great idea..... All the colors blend really well here, and it is very pleasing to the eye.....
