I dont think this is the most technically stunning shot, but it is at least a creative and different approach to this challenge, and I like it, nice work

Unlike most of the others, so far, on subject, good light and relatively good composition.

Shot could have been straightened, but I like the idea and composition.

I love this one! My favourite of the set and my only 10. Finally a take on the subject that doesn't involve a flag or anything else nationalistic. I had thought of doing the same type picture with our cat, but I just didn't have the time... or the gate for that matter.

:) good interpretation of the category. good low angle of the shot.

Good attempt. For some reason, I get the feel that the dog is walking in, not out of the fenced yard. It's a good idea though. I think the overall photo could be a little brighter.

Thank you for offering a different interpretation of the challenge. Many confused this challenge with one about flags, or used it as an opportunity to be excessively patriotic. So, I appreciated your submission even more because it did not pursue these themes.

By the way, my dogs would have been long gone, so I could have never taken this image myself. 10 Morgan

Personally I find this picture uninteresting. The idea isn\'t bad but I don\'t get a sense of excitement about the dog getting his freedom. Being stationary he apperas more reluctant than anything. Perhaps if you\'d shot it from the other direction (facing the dog attempting to escape) and a little lower it would have turned out better.

Cute picture, If I could vote on it I would give it a 10!

I love the shot. They always want to be free.

I love dogs - maybe I'm biased. But I think this is HILARIOUS! I want you to be the winner. It's a good clear shot and the color is good. It's simple and look at him (her) go!!

Superb clarity and sharpness. Good choice of subject. Made me smile. Well done.

hey nice too see someone using freedom as a nicer image. good on you!

Funny. The low contrast color of everything except the dog really brings your eyes to it. The way you have the door opened gives the escape more prominence. I like that you chose to get close to the level of the dog.
