Great execution of your idea. The space in front of the chest, the angle of the chest compared to the floor tiles, the darkness of the chest compared to everything else, and the pose and expression of the model combine to make a very successful image.

This is one of the most intriguing shots of this challenge. A big 10 on originality! One of my favourites for sure! Great work.

My favourite shot this challenge, and I thought there were more excellent ones than usual, so well done! Sadly, this interpretation of life is all too true for many people much of the time. Photography as art can be used to change people's lives and I think that this photo gives much to reflect on. It works very well in b&w, the angles of the tiles works very well in this composition. I think they serve to lead the eye away from the eyes and out of the frame, which provides a dissonance with the fact that he/she is unwilling to get out of the box. So the eye is simultaneously focusing on the subject's eyes and at the lower right hand corner. A dark box works nicely as a contrast to the floor and the subject's hands. 10

Very interesting take on this week's assignment indeed. I really like the darkness of the trunk and the brightness of the floor... they really compliment one another nicely.
