 Taken duing my photo shoot with Arum Rae. She's a vocalist/musician who hired me to do her CD artwork. Look for her first CD to be released in early 2007! We've known each other for about two years and I LOVE her music. This was my first attempt at a real "photo shoot" complete with model, etc. And although I don't have a lot of fancy equipment, we made do with what we have and improvised a lot. It was a lot of fun and she's thrilled with the shots. (I'll share more final images after the voting of this challenge is complete.)

PP included: crop, Neat Image, levels/curves, airbrush, Mr. Contrast filter, transparency brush, dodge/burn brush, save for Web.

Very nice Jimmy! Your model is perfectly composed and posed - your direction must have been excellent! Her placement in the frame (your crop) is perfect and her expression really supports the atmosphere you have created here with the presentation - title, crop, location, subject. The colors in the shot are strong and the contrast between subject and setting is a very strong element. Very well done Jimmy! I look forward to seeing more shots from this session!

minors imo crop to tight/close and the hidden hands
majors fine textures brilliant whites the repetive effects of the background and the few colours work well

cute idea, to me it isn't bold enough with the colours. Everything seems to soft and conserved. I think if upping the curves for a darker richer colour and bringing her dress out more would really make this image POP!. As it is now to me it is fairly flat.

interesting composition. the colors are very cool but the wall and the stairs don't seem to ahve the textures that I would think they do. Did you use neat image on them? anywaythe dress is nice but the feet seem kinda in a strange position. good job overall.

I like the idea of the rough and the satin. My only asvise would be just a touch of fill flash for the face and legs, i think it would bring out the skin tones more.

Nice composition and subject. I like the steps beside the bricks. I would like to see the shot without the hand rail at all. Slight repose to clear the dress at bottom. Although the rail helps frame the subject, for me it doesn't add anything to the image. My opinion only, doens't change an excellent photo.
