Tim - we can just assume you're going to love all of Aimee's shots. ;)
However, as a father of two girls (6 and 9), I LOVE this shot! So it's going in my faves, too.
Have you bought a baby backpack yet? I used mine a lot and was able to take our girls all over the place. Less neck strain! Just get one from a company who makes normal backpacks.

Again these shots mean so much to me. Something all Dads should do, its irriplacable as the upward climb of growing up waits for no-one.
These kind of photo kind of choke me up at times. |

Look that white sky slightly interrupted by bushes and then the reflecting water... finally the perfet definition of the sail and subjects - you got a nice instant, really! Sepia was the best choice - congrats |

very nice emotive image. Classical look to it, I like the lighting - though bright in the trees. The sepia I'm not so sure about. Would be interesting to see this with other tones applied, B&W, maybe a blue or a richer brown/red. Not sure if any others would necessarily work but though I do like the representation of the different shades of brown I'm not sure if the flatness of the color overall is a plus to this particular image. There also seems to be a weird.. crease? of distortion/artifacting running through the center of this image. No idea if that's just issues from uploading or if I'm the only one to see it, but it is distracting (no other photo I've seens so far had it though). Regardless I gave a 6 over all. |

The photo is a little hot in the treeline, but the clarity, comp and overall sweetness make this a very nice shot :) |
