Another wet kid. ;^) Sorry...I've been trying to comment on all of the entries in this challenge and I've seen a LOT of water at this point. You've done a decent job of freezing (stopping motion) the water splash. Something about the boy looks funny. Maybe it's just the smooth water, but to me it looks like a heavy dose of NI was applied (the hair is the giveaway to me, although I certainly could be wrong). His face being in shadow is going to take away some from scoring potential also. Best of luck to you in the challenge. |

Very nice job on the water! The splash has some really nice colors and lighting. If I could change one thing, I would wish for more light on the child's face. |

Noise reduction might have been overdone here. (notice the loss of detail in his hair) |

nice idea, but needs some work. first, your autofocus picked up on the water. that's fine, but your dof is too shallow. also, your metering, by picking up on the brightness of the water, left too much shadow on your subjects face. lastly, your hue/sat adjustment did some funny things to the coloring on the water. how can it be fixed? simple. take some test shots, review your histogram, then switch to manual mode, and adjust your av/tv until you are getting a perfect exposure. next, focus on your subject not moving, then switch to manual focus. now, you're ready for a killer shot! |

Nice, more light on the face would have made this picture great. |

the editing lets this down...perhaps a little oversharp and is that Neat Image? |
