Nice image of the match burning. Lighting is very good for this subject, focus is excellent, and your composition is good.

As for meeting the challenge I find it slightly weak on that. I understand its meaning about how fast life goes by but I am sure there were voters that didn't think about it.

I was trying to save my highest votes for photos or life - preferably human life - but this stunning shot did a nice job illustrating the brevity of life - well done

Oh WOW what an excellent idea for this challenge. I wish your picture was larger though, and this is a rare occasion when I feel a frame could really have helped here. I think that a landscape orientation crop with perhaps a timeline containing events in a person's life could have helped. The tall crop here emphasises the height of the flame, rather than the horizontal movement. 6
