Mood-wise, what you captured here works, maybe needing a little bit tighter crop to add more of the statue in the shot, and also getting the column true vertical. The sky could use some noise reduction and a bit more stauration overall, with some added contrast in the lower half. |

My grandmother told me that Lord Horatio Nelson is a great-great-great uncle of mine. But I've come to understand that many make that claim. Someday I'll do the research and see if it's true ;-)
I like your sky and the placement of the statue. Might possibly consider reducing the noise/grain a bit. |

I like the symblance and idea for this image, but I don't think it was carred off. Filling more of the screen with the statue/monument, I think would have held a much more dramatic appeal. |

unfortunately, i suspect the reference is a bit obscure for a lot of non brits to get... the silhouette is nice and sharp, but really doesn't hold enough interest. if more of the column, or indeed the square was in shot, it might be more effective. actually, just playing with it (if you have elements or similar) i tried making it lack and white, then fiddled with levels to makes the sky blacker and more contrasy. with a more panoramic crop (full width, half height from bottom corner) i think the composition works really well. anyway, erm, 4. |

A bit plain despite the dramatic sky. Perhaps a closer crop? |

I would actually prefer to see the details instead of the sillouette(sp?) While the sky is interesting I thin Less of it and more statue would ahve been better IMO. |
