The things we do for a photograph. Great color and detail. I agree that the peaceful approach works well. I can't think of anything to improve on this, but I sure look forward to your entry when and if DPC gets around to using "grease" as a topic. |

Trading post...
Green is your color! Hahaha! Too cute. I didn't vote in this challenge, but you would have gotten at least a 7 out of me. |

Wow - that there is a LOT of peas. Very creative approach to the challenge and have to admit I wouldn't have gone to all that work for a shot of peas. :-) Seems to have been well-received. Nice work with the 50mm, by the way - good choice there. And I have to say I didn't know there was an aperture of 4.3 - is there? Technicals are good - nice use of ambient light (you do that so well). Maybe a bit too green on the peas, but not by much, |

I love your idea :) Pretty nice. I like his "sleeping" expression. It's like he has too much peas around his head and has fallen asleep because of that. I don't know why he would do that but It looks like he did that. |

HEE HEE - love the stories of how people set up their shots. I'm sure my neighbors think I'm nuts too!! I think what may have helped you is if it maybe was less saturated. It sounds weird, but I think if maybe just the peas had been green (and a bit less so), it might have had more impact. Still, a funny and interesting shot! Keep up the imaginative work. |

Great concept. I'd like to see a shot with this expression but with eyes open, too. |

Very clever Tim, and I would loved to have been a fly on the wall, for this shoot..... I also think you deserved a better score.....
Also thank for you support, as it means the world to me, and you are a true DPC friend..... |

Funny idea. I would like it even better, if the peas were a bit desaturated. The extreme green works distracting, the face should be the central element. 7 |

intersting take on the challenge. But Tim why would you shove your face in peas? |

Clever idea and I bet it was really weird to do! Personally I think open eyes would be more striking and provide a great focal point but I accept that the closed eyes gives a different feel to it. |
