 I had this idea almost the minute I saw the challenge announced. I was at a buffet/salad place with my son. I paid him 5 dollars to pose, as we sat at the booth, eating. Did he touch those peas?? No way!!

I like the strange color desat and overall mood. Would like to have seen more of his mouth though. Title is good!

Great photo, I like the expression of the child in the background. It reminded me of myself and my dislike for peas. I like the black and white combined with the highlighted peas in color. It seems like the peas aren't quite in focus.

Selective desaturation is an overused technique I feel but I do like your use of it here to put the focus on the peas. It works perfectly with the shallow DOF used to the same purpose. Expression on your model's face is spot on!

Nice idea, I'd separate your two image elements somewhat though, push the spoon more to the right of shot, and then the reluctant kid to the left.

that's hillarious!!! great dof...background is possibly a little too subdued and the peas could do with some levels adjustment...the selective desaturation is a great idea 7
