 shot with Canon G3 and a reversed 50MM pentax lens. Off camera flash. Aperture priority at 8. Fungus was the size of a dime, the larvae was almost microscopic.

I think this shot would have been more macro if you were closer to the bug.

I might have tried a different angle for this shot, and/or maybe a tighter crop.
