About 75 shots to be able to get this. By the way, make sure you have plenty of water to put this stuff out.

This has a nice story to it and there are areas that could be very interesting. The only problem I see is the lighting and focus. The light on the table is too harsh IMO. Also the focus seems soft on the cards, though some of that could be from smoke? More control of the light and a deeper focus might improve this shot. Also I'm getting a sense of the image having an odd tilt that throws me off. I gave a 4

The flames "on" the cards don''t really come across as flames!?!

I like the composition... I feel maybe better lighting in the background would have brought out the colors there. Overall a decent shot and a good take on the challenge.

Good idea. The fire is blown out, and the background is too washed out.

A bit overexposed, and the flames are very blown out.

The concept is nice. But it is hard to see if it really is flames on the cards. The background is way too busy imo. I would have liked to see them on a black bacground and the fire near the top of the cards or maybe behind the cards.

Good Idea. Bad execution. The light is just to harsh in the background the chips are blown out. The flame on the cards is blown out as well. The over all image is soft. But it meets the challenge. 5

This is a different idea but I feel it would have worked better if there had been more colour in the flame, as it is it ust looks blown out (MHO)

not much detail in the flames ... back lighting isn't helping this any, too hot in my opinion ...

I think the other players will figure out your hot hand by the smoke. :P
