I used a Phone-wire for a string |

I tried to do something like this but found that my string burned too fast for the shot to happen. What kind of string did you use, out of curiosity? Congrats on the 33rd! |

I like the idea and the misty B/G helps give an eery feel to this shot. The flame on the 'ball' are good and you have captured some nice colour :o) |

That's nice, I like the colors. Kind of a Lord of the Rings motif. |

That's one scary warlock! I like the simple composition of this, not too much in the background to distract from the subject of fire and the supporting actor. The fog is a nice touch and green grass makes an excellent foil for the fireball. Great clarity in the model and the fire is very dynamic. Technically there is a lot going for this image and the interest/originality is right there, but for some reason it doesn't have that "wow" factor for me. So I voted a 7 on those merits, had it had that certain something it'd had done better, but still, not bad eh? |

I really love all the different elements here - it just does not seem to me that they blend together very well. But still, it is a nice photo and definitely a take on the challenge that I like. |

Nice idea but a bit more darkness is needed in the background I feel |

I like that you've given the fire some context. However, I think the lightness of the scene works against your druidic theme and there's too much negative space with the sky. This might work better as a square crop. |

Very Cool! I like it! Not much to say, maybe a little more contrast and burned the background more but a really cool image. 7

I don't know about this one. It seems a little out of place and I think it would be better if it was just in the dark with a golden glow around him. Too bad you din't enter this in the magic and mystery challenge. |

the sky doesn't help this photo, wish it was cropped tighter ... LOVE the rest of it though ... overall, very well done ... 7 |
