| Nice image. I think the lighting here is perfect. I like the composition for the most part, but I think the ashtray should be moved a smidge so its more square in the shot. The focus seems soft on what appears to be the main subject of the burning cigarette and with a shot like this the focus should be perfect. I think the classical colors all work together well here and I like the placement the box of cigarettes, in fact I wish it were more centered so it appeared to be growning out of the corner. I gave a 5 |

| okay, where there's smoke there is fire, but i think in the spirit of the challenge fire itself is supposed to be the subject of the picture, rather than just alluded to. also, the shot suffers due to little seeming to be in focus (apart from the ash tray and filter of the cigarette), bits of ash on the black background (which could have been cloned out) and the composition which includes a wonky ash tray. 3. |

| Composition is flat, and there's no reason to cut off the corner of the cigarette box. |

| My main suggestion would be to have the cigarete glowing red to increase the appearance of "fire". The thing I like most is the trail of smoke rising upwards. |

I see a cig some smoke and an ashtray. I do not see fire. The image is OOF and is not really appealing as such. 4

a little blurry, but good lighting and I like the black bg...
I detest smoking btw, a horrible thing...somebody here needs to quit! |
