Greetings from the Critique Club
First off, I LOVE reading your description! Isn't amazing the things we do to get pictures sometimes. I will go look at the setup in your portfolio in a bit.
I thought this was a very good shot when I voted during the challenge - it wasn't a static, head-on shot, which to me indicates a good imagination - you gave it some thought and effort and to me, it paid off. I really like the color and lines created by the intersections of the mirrors. The slightly different angles give each reflection a slightly different look, which creates interest and keeps the viewer engaged.
The lighting is good - I like that there's no significant glare in the lens face. Focus is pretty good, particularly for a reflection. The word "Nikon" could be just a tad sharper but again, since it's a reflection, that's hard to do.
A well done shot, and a great interpretation of the challenge. |

I really like this. Very clever!! Would be fun to see the setup shot, because I like your description of it - all those towels and other odds & ends. |
