 A stray kitten that's been hanging around for a week now. My Jack Russell Terrier has nearly caught (and killed) it twice. My new project is to Catch the Kitty and turn her over to the Humane Society, where someone will adopt her in two seconds flat.

Unfortunately, she's really skittish, and she's small enough to be able to leap through the fence. Not just "squeeze" but actually *leap*.

UPDATE 8/25: Kitty is caught! Right this moment, she's in a cat trap in the back of a co-worker's car on her way to a new life on a farm in South Georgia. She put up quite a fight to get her in the cage; I have half a dozen long scratches and a dozen bite marks all over my right hand and forearm. I'm pretty sure we'll all be happier for it.

I agree, really cool! Love all the out of focus foreground, with the beautiful little kitty nice and sharp in the middle.
