| Reminded me of this book. It's not technically perfect this picture but it has so much character to it it deserved to place much, much higher. |

| I like the narrow focus, but the large blurred areas on the bottom and upper left look like smudges, and distract me from the subject. |

excellent use of a complicated and busy setting to frame an exquisitely cute subject.
OK, maybe I'm biased for the kitten, but it really does jump out at you. |

| what a beautiful little kitten! For me there is a little too much out of focus foreground but the post processing is good and the expression on the kitten is excellent :o) |

Wow, what a great photograph.
It may not be in great focus, it may not be perfectly exposed, and may have the subject right in the centre but it certainly struck a chord with me.
Very, very well done.
