 Another complicated set up. This one took me all day. I hope people don’t think it’s a print, this is a real light bulb and it is really lit up. My girl was my magician.

Harry Blackstone created a famous stage illusion called the floating light bulb and during his performance he would levitate over the audience a lit light bulb. A very cool illusion I saw performed by Mr. Blackstone as a kid. If you would like to know the setup PM me and I will reveal my secret.

I think this entry meets both the Magic & the Mystery in the challenge description. We will see huh? :-P

Post: Auto levels, contrast, cloned out a small shadow behind the bulb a little black electrical tape on the bottom of the bulb and some hot spots in the bulb, NI, USM, crop, re-size and save for the web.

Love the idea and and how you carried it out ... the only thing I would change is the blue reflections on the gloves ... they tend to distract ... Good job!!!

I like this. It's an 8 for the effect and lighting. I can't quite put a finger on what would make it a 10 for me ... perhaps a darker background to add depth.

Nicely composed, lit and the trick is pulled off well. One nitpick is the red lighting on the gloves looks outof place since you shifted the hue of the light bulb. 7

Having seen Harry Blackstone do this in person and knowing the only magician today approved by his wife Gay to perform this magical feat I commend you on your efforts. Lovely work.BTW Darren Romeo is the magician performing this today in Branson MO through September.
