Didn't use a brush.
One cat pic, copied, pasted in multiple layers, erasing away the edges that had stray grass showing, rotated, moved layers forward, backward, skewed, etc.

Humor doesn't do well, even in a humorous challenge.
Oh well, at least a few members got a laugh out of it.

Ha! With humor, you just have to be happy if some enjoy it. And 1 person loved it, 3 thought it great, and a total of 41 thought it "very good" and up. :)

creativity doesn't always work here, and I can tell ;)

I like your "newer" "style", it looks like you're more free somehow, not trying to get THAT perfect shot, but just having fun and loving photography. Just like your Stupid stupid entry.

I like that :)

ps: ehm, now it seems like your shots aren't perfect or something like that. Not meant to offend you, you know that, right?

Ooh - I thought this might do a bit better than 5.6 (although that's not a bad score). It's just sooo funny and creative. I think you did an excellent job - Oh well - watcha gonna do.

Very funny. You did a good job with the multple images. A classic soft focused background always works well in this type of image.
I saw a lot of common desert fauna while out in the wild. One I had never seen before is a ringtailed cat. I only saw it for a few seconds while it was scurrying across a dry wash. I think ringtails are in the raccoon family. It had a lot more red but looked like this one: //www.desertmuseum.org/programs/images/Basast04.jpg

Heh, cute idea. When I saw this in thumbnail I would've sworn it was a herd of cows all with their heads cut off.. it was bizarre looking! I think the lighting is good and the colors are nice. Good contrasts shown. Maybe a bit too busy with all the cats, could probably lose one or two and still have the same effect. Don't like the border at all, almost overpowers the image instead of simply framing it. I think this is an interesting take on the challenge and was put together nicely, but after determining there aren't any cows in the image I don't find much left to hold my attention. I gave a 5

It's a little too much with the cat brush for my taste. Very cute cat, however :-)

Interesting use of cloning (or however you did this), but it doesn't show me where Steve is.
