Cut ropes in three pieces, cut two black stripes for the triptych separator, put on the floor and shot away.

well, that was my first comment on looking at this and I am glad you got validation as this looks like an edited tryptich...you were very clever in the way you did this with that in mind as your lines are perfect.

as for the photo itself, it's good. It doesn't have a wow factor for me, but it certainly suits the challenge. The white background has a pink tinge to it on my monitor an I am not sure if that was intended. Overall I give this a 7

For tying tippets on fly line, I believe is a common use. Nice sequence there and the colours and white balance are pretty good. 7.
