Shot of a coral reef exhibit at the zoo. Obviously, going for the abstract thing. I think this challenge works for an abstract image nicely. We shall see what the voters think.
In ps-neat image, crop, levels, curves for midtone contrast, curves for color, selective color, hue/sat, screen and overlay layer with opacity dropped, curves again, smart sharpen, resize, border, sfw.

| great choice of subject- very eerie and evocative. it would have been nice if you could have done something about the purple fringing (or at least, the purple colors look unnatural/unintentional)... and the focus is rather soft, verging on blurry. |
