I'd like to thank every one who commented on my picture. I got some great suggestions and will keep them in mind for future contests here at DPC.

distracting reflection of -- a laundry hamper? or is it meant to suggest "money laundering?" If so, very clever!

nice composition on this one... the coffe mug seems to have a fairly soft focus but i'm not sure if it's being caused by reflections or not... if u have some loose money laying around, I can profide you with a deposit slip :) - jmsetzler

It seems a touch overexposed to me and that causes two other problems, think. One, the money is a little bright. Two, the cup is almost out of focus, it seems because of the glare in some spots. i like the idea -- want to loan me a couple of those? :-) karma

Solid technical picture, great lighting, can't fault it. Having said that, I think it lacks something, content perhaps, rather than technical.

Hoestly! the things people have in their cupboards at home. Wher did you get that mug. Seems like coffee mugs are in this week, at least this one is stuffed with cash to make it interesting. The subject is well lit and well exposed. I was curious so I took a look at it in Photoshop and gave it a little sharpening treatment which worked nicely, at the moment the logo looks a little fuzzy. I would also like the side of the mug to run parallell wuth the side of the image otherwise it looks like it's falling over a bit.

Nice photo. Well composed, good technique

good concept!~ ill take some of those! your focus hurts you tho, and the tilted shot.

The reflections on the mug are a bit distracting... but you've got a good concept here. Perhaps you should spend some time working to perfect this idea. -6

Cute idea, but the photo looks sharply out of focus to me.

Well done for being one of only two people in this weeks challenge to get out the big bucks for your photo - 100 dollar bills! Good concept but slightly unimaginative angle and poor focus. Some interesting lighting and/or camera placement would have really made the photo.

Cool image. Effective. The variations on the Got Milk? slogans are getting to be a bit stale though. Don't care about the reflections on the mug. Otherwise, it would have been great. How did you get that E mug? Hope that it isn't because you worked for them :(

The composition is a bit static for my taste. It would have been nice if you had had the money doing something, like burning up, or the cup breaking, somehting.

nice shot, good reflections, good concept

Lucky to have that cup - something still of value with Enron's name on it.
07/29/2002 12:13:00 PM
love the sarcasm of this...needs a little better focus.
07/29/2002 11:57:00 AM
great idea...very dramatic use of props

Needs to be level, and needs everything in focus. Go back and try again, but this time stand the camera on a couple of books, and use a longer exposure.
