 Illegally pulled over blocking half the road in Yosemite on a little less travelled road, but had to get this picture. Wish there was room to frame this better but if I moved in any direction I'd probably be off a cliff, into a cliff or in the middle of a traffic. Patiently took out my tripod switched lenses to my 70-200mm with 1.4x extender.

Increased saturation until my blues and reds came out a bit more. Saved for web.

Way to go Frederick!! Your personal best at DPC. I agree that when in Yosemite, you sometimes just have to find a way to get the shot. It was a close race between your entry and mine. You have a capture that should be at the top. Congratulations!!

This is one of my favourites. Just the tree alone would have been wonderful but you have the added bonus of the moon. It has a ghostly yet calm feel about it. The dead tree was a much better choice than a live one.
