 A birch tree in my front yard. It was set-upon by some kind of insect infestation a few years ago and, rather than cut it down, I trimmed it and left it standing.

The photo was taken about fifteen minutes after sunset.

In PS I adjusted brightness and contrast, cropped and resized for upload.

The title is a deliberate mis-quote of a line in the poem by Joyce Kilmer.
