These ants were not your average sized ants. They were very small, small as or smaller than a pin head. The only way I saw them was the line on ants moving together.

I was setting on the deck when I noticed these very small ants going inside the Hibiscus blossom. So I grabbed my camera with the 105mm macro lens and tripod. I Inserted the lens into the blossom then began to investigate the activity inside.

Fairly interesting shot of the ants hard at work inside a plant. Beautiful colors in the flower itself. I can't help but want more focus in on the ants themselves.

So many great photos this challenge, I've given out the most 10s in any challenge I think, and THIS is my favourite :-)
Great colours, composition, textures, light, etc.
What makes this stand out to me is the ability of a macro to take us to another universe within our own, and this photo certainly does that by bringing us down to an ant's level. At this stage, we can almost empathise with them in this cosy environment. There's something strangely alien about them, as if they were about to step out of Spielberg's spaceship in Close Encounters. Great shot! 10

Coolly abstract! Nice shot. I can't see this scoring well, but I like it. 9 Rob the Swash

Nice, effective shot - good use of colour, light and shape. Shame the middle ant isn't a tad sharper, but this is nice.

I like this shot. But I would have given it a higher score if you had cropped approx. 1/3 higher where the ants are more subject matter.

I like the colors in this shot, I also like the border, it draws attention to the ants.
