 A played out cornfield.
Conversion from RAW
Adjustments to levels
Adjustments to hue & saturation
Added a slight (1.9) Gaussian Blur
Removed a small overhanging branch in the top left corner that was distracting.
Run through Neat Image for final effect

The softness is what I thought about when the challenge was announced. Pastel/soft. They go together.
