Nice apple and good hand. Bit bright on the apple but otherwise I like the composition a lot.

The composition is nice. DOF is all right. The image fits the challenge. But it definetely needs more contrast (curve or levels in photoshop or any other program might help a lot).

You have a good composition here but it is compromised by lack of post processing to brighten and adjustment contrast if nothing else. Otherwise very appealing. 7

The exposure is way off. Was it "lightened" in an image editor?

The lighting seems a bit too bright, but at the same time the colours are muted.

Like the concept. The lighting appears to bright on the apple giving too large a highlight spot.

I don't know if you were going for the darker look with this, but it may look a little better if the shot were a little brighter.
