 Yes, the rule of thirds is good for avoiding boring pictures with a centered subject... but it's not THE LAW. Sometimes it seems people look at photos with a ruler to measure if your subject is exactly in the third. It's just a recomendation. So, how to make an image using the rule of thirds to criticize people trapped by it? This is my purpose. The light is not as good as I would like to, but I did this shot with few time to go.
PP: ACR, color balance, USM, resize, borders, USM, save for web.

Good idea and well executed. I'd like to see this processed to look more dark and dismal to go with the theme and the expression on her face.

Cool & cute. I know you have eyes up there, but maybe you could have put a finger at the corner of the mouth, as a gesture of fright/worry, to isolate a focal point on a third. Just musing.

Cool lighting effect. I like the shadows on the face, it gives it a darker, scarier look. nice.
