This is such a fun childrens portrait, and I love that tiny smile on her face.
The flowers add so much interest, and there really work a treat for mem with this refreshing colorful portrait.

This is much better. I̢۪m glad you were very subtle with the contrast increase, that̢۪s all it needed. It has removed the slight greyness in the shadows on her skin and given it just the right amount of ping. I̢۪d say its now perfect and should be left alone :-)

When I look at her face it makes me smile, it̢۪s such a wonderful expression you have caught there! Well done!

I̢۪m sorry to hear she get hives, not too bad I hope.
I̢۪ll keep checking back to see if you find the other version of the pic and I̢۪ll give you another comment if you like.

Hmmm... I thought I actually had one where I fixed her eyes... perhaps I uploaded the wrong one? She wasn't crying, she gets hives a lot... we aren't sure why.

I'm going to try and find my other version of this...

I like this, it has a lot of character. Her mischievous look and the peeping through the daises work really well together. A child̢۪s eye view for a child̢۪s story. The crop is unusual but works very well with the peeping theme. At first the red under her eyes bothered me, it looks like she may have been crying or maybe a touch of hay fever but upon reflection they add to the story the image tells. I think maybe a touch more contrast and sharpening would help a lot to make the image come alive and get the viewers attention straight away. This is one of those images that gets better the more you look, but with the current lack of contrast I think many people would pass it over and never see the story it tells. I would try and sharpen up the eyes in particular.
