I Stand Alone

Taken early, with the rising sun behind me, and the colors coming through above the cloud, the light was then coming back across the water.

Two things that really stand out for me: the chartreuse of the grass and the white of the tree trunk and branches. Love the cool pallette. Greens to blue - very pretty.

The tree looks almost surreal. I think the setting is lovely and has a lot of potential, maybe not totally fulfilled in this shot, but you can't control the weather! There is some hallowing around the upper trunks against the sky, maybe an artifact of a bit too much of unsharp mask.
Very nice overall, this hold your attention...

It's dynamic and unnatural. Unusual but viewable. My eye avoids the tree for some reason though.

Great subject, I would be intrested in seeing the unprocessed colors.

I don't know why, but this one grabed my attention, re the thumb-nail, so had to take a closer look.
I like what I see, and love the stark whiteness of the tree bark, against the water and sky..... A stunner here..... Well done.

Very interesting lighting and color choices, but it makes it so harsh. There's something appealing about it though. I keep going back and forth about whether I like it and whether I think it's well done. It certainly is original though.
