Oh this is so well done. Congratualtions on a good idea and a wonderful execution! Under-rated! |

Very clever. How did you put it all together? |

This reminds me of those advertisements you get at christmas from the franklin mint - the tree which should be the main focus of this challenge looks like an afterthought |

Smiles... this is so fine but I wonder about the left side, would a slight shift of perspective have ruined the composure? |

I don't feel that the tree is the subject. I think it meets the challenge pretty well but with the bright reflection of the moon pointing the eye toward the little fisherman guy, I feel that he's more the subject... |

Well, if you are going to go for a cliche, do it in style. You have. I think it all works well. 7. |

This is a neat shot. Very well composed and executed. It maybe needs a little nore light on the tree to break it away from the BG around the trunk. |

nice creation, but the bonsai doesn't draw my attention as a subject |

Cute. I can see this as a print somewhere...a restaurant perhaps. Good luck. |

Well, lately I've been on validation run. It's maybe possible to pull this off with prints, but I'm just not sure. The reflection looks too much like the Flood filter to me, which I'm sure is a no-no. Cute idea though. Don't worry, I haven't given it a vote yet, but look for the validation request. Could be a LCD behind the tree... |

Creative! This had me looking for a "This photo has been validated" message. :) I really like what you've done. The composition is good, you appear to have deliberately chosen what you wanted to appear in the image and how to communicate that to the viewer. Really a work of art.
The only thing I would change is that the tree foliage looks too bright (and appears to be illuminated from THIS side of the tree) since the moon is on the other side of the tree. This side should be quite a bit darker to make it look more consistent.
My final words, though: this is a work of art. Nice work. |

This may be a legitimate photo or a real bonsai, a real moon, and a real pool ... but it appears to be a bonsai in front of another photo or possibly in front of your monitor dispalying the background. There's somethign about it, it just doesn't feel real somehow. |
